From humble beginnings as a pastime, M J Turner's photographic creations have since been showcased in renowned publications and international competitions; having been commended numerous times and featured in bestsellers such as Outdoor Photography Magazine.  His imagery has received praise from professionals such as Stephen B. Whatley (Expressionist Artist), Ed Robinson (Award-Winning Photographer) and Jon Culshaw (Impressionist Comedian) who was a judge in the Astronomy Photographer Of The Year competition.
